2022年5月10日，浙江大学李松教授通过腾讯会议（会议号：564 729 4607）主讲了题为“An Open Question on Sparse Representations in Unions of Bases”的学术报告。报告会由吴爱龙院长主持，学院相关老师和学生在线聆听了此次报告。
报告摘要：In this talk, we consider sparse representations of signals from redundant dictionaries which are unions of several orthonormal bases. The spark introduced by Donoho and Elad plays an important role in sparse representations. However, numerical computations of sparks are generally combinatorial. For unions of several orthonormal bases, two lower bounds on the spark via the mutual coherence were established in previous work. We constructively prove that both of them are tight. Our main results give positive answers to Gribonval and Nielsen ’ s open problem on sparse representations in unions of orthonormal bases. Constructive proofs rely on a family of mutually unbiased bases which first appears in quantum information theory.
李松教授简介，浙江大学求是特聘教授，二级教授。主要从事应用调和分析以及数据科学相关领域的数学基础理论研究工作，其中包括：压缩感知、低秩矩阵恢复、小波分析理论与应用、相位恢复、盲去卷积等国际应用数学的热点领域。到目前为止在国际数学、应用数学、数学与信息交叉以及数学与信号处理交叉领域顶级期刊等发表了90 余篇学术论文（其
中包括Applied and Computational Harmonic Analysis, Inverse Problem, IEEE. Trans. Inform Theory, IEEE.Trans.Signal Process 等）；主持了2 项国家自然科学基金重点项目、5 项面上项目以及 1 项浙江省重大科技项，作为第一完成人曾获得教育部自然科学二等 奖。目前指导毕业了 40 余位研究生，其中，毕业研究生中多人获得国家级优秀青年人才项 目（包括；国家优秀青年基金、中组部青年拔尖人才、教育部青年长江学者）。曾被多次邀 请参加国际重要学术会议并做特邀报告；例如：由剑桥大学牛顿研究所举办的“数据科学中优化方法挑战”国际会议以及世界华人数学家大会等。
